Philosophy
The philosophy of The Church of St. John & St. Stephen Home Inc. as is stated on our cornerstone, "For the Glory of God in the Service of His People". The philosophy is based on the respect and dignity of each individual. We provide for the physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs of our residents.
History
The members of The Church of St. John & St. Stephen, now known as Grace Presbyterian Church, saw a need for a Home for older adults who were unable to stay alone in their own homes. Through the efforts of the Church, the Home became a reality in our community in 1977.
The Home is open to all members of the community and to those of all religious traditions. The Home is operated by Christians for the purpose of bringing the warmth and compassion of Christ to the ageing population in the community.
